With a product from swallow, the emphasis on design packaging is the point that makes the brand stand out in the health care product market. Bringing a sense of luxury and sophistication to the packaging of a gift set will make customers feel the appropriate value from this high-end product. Therefore, designing a gift set requires evoking the satisfied experience right from opening the box set to enjoying each piece of the swallow’s nest. The luxury gift set for Thiên Hoa Yến is primarily inspired by the natural energy source from Tây Nguyên combined with the swallow throughout.
“Home” of the bird’s nest is the story we want to bring when customers experience the gift set. Like humans, swiftlets also need homes to stay safely, nurture and grow. The hexagonal box structure is like a solid house for the swiftlets to return to. This house does not carry the meaning of captivity or confinement, instead the swiftlets can fly freely, bringing with them slices of lively Tay Nguyen’s daily life. This ideal living environment not only helps the bird nest grow naturally but also ensures the highest quality of the bird’s nest. This is like a symbol of the brand’s sustainable connection to customers.
About the Packaging
Tay Nguyen is often associated with images of vast wilderness and majestic epic stories. Accordingly, in our minds we often associate this place with the natural materials of the highland nature and the rusticity of the religion. In contrast, the bird’s nest product comes from the opposite when it is a delicacy from ancient times, associated with nobility and high class. Therefore, Thien Hoa Yen’s gift set needs to have connections to harmonize the indigenous ethnic elements from the product’s origin, while not losing the delicate value of a high-end gift set.
Material:
We use high-quality printing paper, combined with sophisticated foil and foil printing techniques, which not only creates the sturdiness of the product set but also enhances its aesthetic value, creating a strong impression at first sight.

With this project, we choose luxury and fashion as the main concept for the Thien Hoa Yen bird’s nest gift set, incorporating the Central Highlands cultural story. The design style is aimed at naturalness with soft lines like fluttering bird’s nest wings. Incorporated into it are typical images of Tay Nguyen lit up by sacred fire, the sound of stone instruments, gongs and sinus rings connecting the community. The bird’s nest element is shown throughout six pictures along with typical flowers such as coffee flowers, purple myrtle flowers and mlah flowers.
Color:
Tay Nguyen often associates images of festivals with strong community and village spirit. That joyful atmosphere is the inspiration for the bright colors and gradient effects for the gift set. The high-class characteristic is expressed by pressed gold line patterns and eye-catching color-shift printing techniques on the packaging.
Pattern:
Developed from basic geometric shapes in design and inspired by patterns on the costumes and decorations of the Tay Nguyen’s culture, Direction has created patterns that cover the house of the bird’s nest. The design has recreated a vivid and unique picture of an ideal habitat for bird nests to create the highest quality bird’s nest products.
